Boost your researcher profile

The course is primarily aimed at researchers at Aalborg University, who wish to explore the possibilities to raise the profile of their research. The course will provide an overview of the profiling options in the various systems in which the researchers appear. The point of departure will be the researchers’ own VBN profiles displayed in the VBN Research Portal. Afterwards, we will look in to other opportunities to increase visibility.

Course contents:

• Introduction to your VBN profile
• ORCID – utilize your unique researcher ID
• Maintenance of Scopus author ID
• Creation and maintenance of Researcher ID (Web of Science)
• Create and maintain your Google Scholar profile
• Open Access, full text and copyright

Please notice that there will only be a brief introduction to the VBN profile. For a longer introduction to VBN, you should attend the workshop "Boost your VBN profile", in which you will have the opportunity to work with the own profile.
