VBN and Pure introduction

The course is primarily targeted at new researchers at Aalborg University, who need to use VBN/Pure to register their research activities and -publications. However, if you have worked with Pure before but need a brush-up on your skills, you are very welcome to join us.

Course content:

• What is VBN/Pure?
• Login to Pure
• Add a file in Pure - including a general view of the different types of publications
• Annual work cycle, workflow, and network of reporting officers
• Import of publications
• CV
• The VBN Research Portal
• Brief introduction to publications strategies and BFI
• The VBN Team: Support, management information, "Book a VBN staff member"

If you are in need of more detailed information, you may book a VBN staff member for meetings at the department, in research groups etc. regarding the BFI model, Open Access, Open Journal System, Ph.D. submission etc..
