In order for AAU Open to be able to publish the PhD thesis, it must comply with a number of minimum requirements regarding format. These minimum requirements must be met before the thesis is submitted. There are a number of templates that you are free to use - they are not mandatory.
Once you have submitted your thesis, you must send an e-mail to AAU Open stating your choice of front cover, along with the photo of your choice, should you choose that solution.
Some PhD theses include vast files containing appendices - e.g. graphics or sound. Read more below about how to handle such files.
