The Bibliometric Research Indicator (BFI) is part of the Danish performance-based model for the distribution of new base funding for universities in Denmark. BFI is used to provide an overview of the production of research in Denmark. The funds are allocated to Danish universities based on the annual calculation of research production.
Below there is more information on rules and guidelines, results, authority lists and how to make new suggestions for the lists, professional organization etc. of the Danish Bibliometric Research Indicator.
The VBN Team supervises and answers questions in relation to BFI. In addition, we supply BFI statements to the various management levels at the university.
