Teaching portfolio in Pure

Teachers at Aalborg University are expected to fill in and maintain their teaching portfolio in Pure. The portfolio should at the very least be updated prior to the annual appraisal interview. It must contain information starting from the autumn semester 2015 at minimum (or later if later employed).

It is entirely up to you to decide if you want to include information regarding teaching activities prior to the autumn of 2015. If you want to include previous teaching activities, it is for you to decide the level of detail when you fill in the information (e.g. whether you write “several years of experience with thesis counselling in economics” or “25 instances of thesis counselling in economics from 2010 to 2015”).

Questions regarding the teaching portfolio must be directed to the VBN Team: vbn@aub.aau.dk

Setting up a teaching portfolio in Pure

  • To set up a teaching portfolio in Pure, you must access the module “CV & Teaching Portfolio”.
  • The content is added manually in the teaching portfolio. There is no automatic import of content.
  • Sections 1 to 5 are mandatory, while sections 6, 7, and 8 are optional.

Be aware

There can be a delay from when you save the teaching portfolio template in the Pure system to when it is visible at your VBN profile.

You can answer in both Danish and English. It must be filled out in both languages. As a minimum, you should copy-paste your English answers into the Danish field. Otherwise, they will appear blank in the Danish version of your portfolio.
